thanks to those who remember my birthday, who wish me, who celebrate my big day with me....

Really, thanks a lots..

I had a wonderful birthday...

wonderful, because it's a public holiday for my birthday..yeah yeah~~

I m now one year older...

Hav to be more mature, more responsible, and more strong enuf to face the predicaments of life..

Wishing to myself again, Happy Birthday ! ! !

Dr John's place

Today during our BBL class, we were so lucky that got the chance to pay a visit to Dr John's Pajam's Jatropha place..


Heard abt this place many times before, but dun really know how's it look like..

So, i was quite excited before going..

Both Wee n Dr John drive..

The journey from college to tat place was abt 20 mins..

At 1st, Dr John stop at roadside beside a farm..

Har? this is the place?

After Dr John explain, only we Ooohhh.....this is the place tat they culture the Jatropha plant..

They bought the seeds and planted them in the poly bag here..

The farm is very systematic and clean..

There is a place where they get the extration from paddy straw and going to culture the different types of mushrooms there.

And there is another place where the worms are breeded to get the waste from it to used as the fertilizer for the plant.



We can saw that the water flow in the stream is very clear and there is a pond where they breed some fish inside..

This is really a nice farm.. and u can rarely c the weed.




After the farm, we went to the research lab..

It is abt 5 mins drive from the farm..and it is a unit of the shoplot..

The lab is new and clean and simple and is out of my imagination...






This lab is used to do the tissue culture thing..

After this visit, i can really open my eye wide and know how a simple biotech project start and how it goes on operating..

But, too bad, i m not very interested in plant biotech.. Haiz..

Today, i volunteer to help Barbara in her project..

She's doing a medical plant tissue culture project..

I volunteer to help because i hope i can learn something from it and manage to master well the skills of tissue culture..

Today is the 1st day i help her, is abit tire and sleepy,and there is some communication problems btw me n her, but i hope i can sustain till the end of her project.

Juz now Ren Feng called again and telling tat they r going for clubbing again this saturday..

Then will go to Genting on Sunday..

Ask me to join them for the whole weekend..

Haiz.. off course i really wish i can join them la..

But, wat to do???

CAN'T ! ! !

This weekend will be another busy weekend for me..

Hav to accompany mum go shop for her clothes, hav to prepare everything and

monday which is Deepavali, which is a public holiday, and also which is MY BIRTHDAY,

Monday will be the ' Guo Dai Lei' ( some chinese culture 2 weeks before wedding, i thk so )..

And we hav to go to my future sister in law aka my bro's fiancee's house to do duno wat thing, i also not very sure, coz never marry before wat...

Haiz..

Sorry la friends, i really wish to spend the weekend and holiday times with u guys,

but i really cant make it... sob sob :(

Tmr is the molecular mid-term exam..

Not yet study finish..

Got to ciao now, continue study..................

The blood

Today, we were doing DNA extraction from our own blood.

At first, Ms Patricia said tat every of us hav to poke our self to get our own blood..

But then seems like miss her self also scare la, can saw from her nervous face...

Mr Silvam, the lab assistant helps to poke the fingers,

Nasih was so brave and he became the 1st volunteer.

The moment when the thing poke inside, eeewwww, many of the gals scream, including me, haha...

So scare larh...

After poke the finger, u can c the blood came out little by little..

And as we need some amt of the blood, so u hav to squeeze the finger to let the blood to come out more...

By seeing this terrible scene, at last, Ms Patricia agree not everyone to poke the fingers, juz one from each group....

Haha, it's good for me, coz my group members are all guy, so sure not me to poke la, simply choose 1 of them will do..

The second volunteer was BB. She was no scare at all and keep saying tat she want to be poked..

Even Ann also was so excited to ' see' the blood.. haha

Suddenly i m so admire for their braveness..

And the lab was like usual, in a mess...

the only thing we can do is juz follow the protocol given on the paper..

And there was some failure in this practical also, as we cant really get the DNA..

Haiz.... every lab practical, i was like so ignorant, sometimes really duno wat had happen for the whole practical..

Who should i blame?

Myself? for being not ready and not well-prepared for the practical?

Or miss? for not explaining the protocol and everything clearly? sometimes even she herself also confuse with the steps...

The lab equipment here was not really enuf...

Sometimes a lot of things i can only see and know and learn, but NOT DOING IT BY MYSELF.

Really miss the lab time during my A-levels time in HELP..

There, every student can hav their own set of equipment and did the experiment individually..

So, everything u got the chance to touch, to use, to learn and to know..

Not like in nilai, every practical also done in group and so not everyone got the chance to do it.

I really scare, cant imagine my degree time in UK...

Fathha said that she was suffering there now as she duno a lot of things..

ERRRR..... i need to catch up a lot of things..

Exhausted ! !

This few days was very very busy..

Start from last saturday, after work,
then stay at home to make preparation for bro's wedding,

At the evening, the delivery of his new bed n cabinets reach..
So hav to keep an eye on the workers as bro not around..
busy till 9 something only had my dinner..

After dinner, headache with the preparation again,
hav to thk who else to invite, wat to do with the bachelor night, bla bla bla a lot of stuff to thk..

Haih...wedding is really a big headache..


Sunday, went shopping for the clothes,
spent abt eight hundred for few clothes..

Shopping is tiring too..
U hav to walk walk walk, choose, choose, choose, try , try, try !!!

After tat, went to buy the things needed for my society fund raising event.
And then had to drive to airport to fetch my uncle..
It was raining so heavily the whole way from kepong to airport..

Sunday end with headache also..

*when in a hurry to go shopping in the morning, i broke my house's water filter thing, so suai!!!
So no drinking water at my house for tat whole day larh,
and this make trouble to me coz i was in a hurry,
but still need to go out to buy the water filter spare part...


Monday, is the 1st day of fund raising event..

Went to the booth at 8 something n start preparing everything..
we sell sandwiches, drinks, cakes, pudings and muffins...
Stay at the booth for whole day until 4 something.

Then came back and take a bath,
5.30pm went to Giant to buy some stuff for the 2nd day fund raising event.

After tat straight away went for a movie -- Eagle Eye...
Nice movie, but the cinema was so freezing cold!!

When i came back, it was dy 1am..
Sleep at 2.15am..


Tuesday, which is today..

Again, wake up early to go to the booth..
Make sandwiches n drinks there..

And then in the middle, went for 1 and a half hour class,
but mengantuk in the class.. too sleepy la..

After class, went to help to close the stall,
The food was almost finish sold..
very good !!

This is our 1st fund raising event,
and the profit is roughtly RM 250..
Not bad right??
This is a good starting for our newly borned society..

After done with my job,
came back to the room, bath
and then straight away sleep for 5 hours...

Hahaha.....
It's really enjoy to hav a good sleep after so much tiring work..


October is really a busy month for me..
A lot of event drop in this month..

Eg, Hari Raya, quizes, fund raising event, mid-term exams, biotech orientation night, Deepavali, my birthday, preparation for bro's wedding, and a lot of dinner party as many ppl birthday drop in this month.

Huh, wat a busy October ! ! !

My sushi gone..

Today is last day for the sushi king all RM2 promotion..

Plan to go for this promotion since few weeks ago..

And then ask cheng lo..

so, today i purposely go back juz to eat cheap cheap sushi.

But, manatau when we reach Jusco,

saw the Q in front of sushi king is so soo sooo longggg !!!

Oh my God..

The Q is really really long until u wait there for 4 or 5 hours also cannot sampai u la..

Stupid la...

Y so many ppl like me, like to eat sushi meh ? ?

haiz....... so disappointed

So, ended up eating Red Door Nyonya Restaurant lo..

I order 1 chicken herbal soup, 1 fried kangknong with belacan and 1 ice peach tea









hmmm..... yummy yummy, but.... but...

I still want to eat sushi la.... so desperately! ! !

Tmr eat need pay normal price dy, so sien.....

Hang around at Jusco for a while..

then come back college lo..

but raining so heavily..

when i reach college is 12.30am dy.

Sei lo, so late liao,

report still not yet finish..

so report, report, report, headache, headache, headache

REPORT = HEADACHE ! ! !

Now is 3.50am..

Juz finish my report before i blog...

Tmr 8am class, got quiz some more..

Hav to go to bed now, or else tmr cant wake up..

Bali Trip Day 3

4th Oct 2008


Again, 7am morning call..


And again, breakfast at hotel,
the same food, same drink, same display..
so sien dy larh~ ~ ~


1st destination was beach...


Yeah ~ ~ ~


I was so excited to go to beach as i luv beach so much..


But, i m so dissapointed with it after i went.


The sand is yellow + brown in color,
not the same as wat i imagine ~ ~ ~ white sand, blue sea

Not the same as wat i saw from a korean drama -- Prince's First Love
This drama took in Bali and the view is so nice, the beach is so white..

Tat's y i m so looking forward for Bali beach..

But after saw the beach with my real eye, cheh ~ ~ ~
even Redang beach is better than tat lar ~ ~

Bali beach with a lot of watersport..

Ok, wat we did on the beach??

Of course water sport la..

but the price is so expensive,
much more expensive than wat i play before at Batu Fehringgi, penang.

So we din play much, only the parashot and the 'glass of underwater', [it was named like tat]

The parashot was so so so lousy ~ ~

The person in charge said tat the parashot takes 15 mins,

but u know, we wait more than 15 mins,

and from u start off until u reach back the sand,

it's only not more than 2 mins.. Hoiiii ! ! !


Ok, tat's fine, so now look back wat we had done for 'glass of underwater'..

From the name itself, we thought tat it was something like u wear a oxygen mask and walk under the water..

But then again, we got cheated ! ! !

It was juz a speed boat with a glass under the boat,
and we look at the water from the glass...&^$#!*%$@

wat the f**k ! ! !

The boat speed so fast, how can we bend our head down n look at the sea??
Soon, everybody got so dizzy..

But luckily i saw something la, i saw a nice blue star fish..

It was so beautiful, so worth back a bit la..

And finally the boat send us to a turtle island..

There we saw a lot of turtles,
got big and got small..

Other than this 2 waterspot,
we also do the nail painting art on the beach..

It was cheap, is abt RM20 only...



After the beach, it was lunch time..
It took abt 1 hour for us to reach the restaurant..
and the food was still ok...

Then we sit for 2 hours bus to go visit the Bedugul with the Lake Bratan..
It is 1200 meters above sea level...

And the picturesque water temple Ulun Danu...

The view of the lake and the temple is so beautiful...

After tat, again 2 hours bus journey,

we visit to the famous Tanah Lot Temple.

It was built by one of the last priest who came to Bali from Java in the 16th century.

Its rituals include the paying of homeage to the guardian spirits of the sea..

During flood tide, the land around the temple will covered by sea water,
and the temple will look like standing in the middle of the sea..


There, we enjoy the nice view of sunset..

I shop at the shop nearby and got 3 nice slippers..


Dinner time, we went to a western restaurant for steak as dinner.

Heard ppl say that in Bali the Babi Guling ( roasted pig ) is very famous,

so we extra order a Babi Guling from tour guide.

This Babi Guling cost 1 million rupiah..

And not taste very good,

i dun really like it.

On the way back to hotel,

bus driver drop us at the most liveliness street of Bali,

ppl call it Mat Salleh Street as u can saw a lot of westerner there..

And this street la, was bom by terrorist few years back.

Hard Rock Cafe is here ! !

Can saw a lot of carriage either stop or gallop on the street..

After went back to hotel and finish bath,

happy hour start again in room 218..

Gambling, happing, drinking, joking, laughing.........

Then, the 3rd day end ~ ~ ~

Featureless

Juz came back from movie with cheng,
watch Butterfly Lovers by Charlene Choi and Wu Chun..

It was not a good movie, can say is boring,
the story is sooo prosiness..

One word to say only, SIEN !!!

If u not watch yet, better dun watch, it's not worth it ! !



Today quite bored..

Aka not around, dad n mum also went out dy...

Bro was not at home juz now,
and when i come back from movie,
he dy asleep...

So now left me alone in the living room...
surf the net, write the blog, watch the tv, bla bla bla..
so flanerie~ ~

Bali Trip Day 2

3rd Oct 2008

7.00am morning call..

After buffet breakfast at hotel, we depart at 8.30am..

Went to Ubud Village.

Ubud is famous with its Monkey Forest and Art Market which sells a wide range of clothing, fabrics, masks and souvenirs.

You can also find silver, batiks and paintings in various styles.

The 1st place we went in Ubud was the famous souvenirs shop.

The things there is quite expensive, tourism place is like tat one.

I din buy anything there, juz a necklace for Aka and was paid by xiao yi.

After tat went to a silver shop.

Nothing much attracted me there and juz snap the photo around.

I don like silver much as they will get dark easily and so nothing gain from the shop.

This is Balinese's God. Most of the local ppl believe in this God.

The tour guide told us tat Bali ppl dun treat their God well,

they believe tat if u treat the 'too well', the God wont fulfill ur prayer.

Must put the God outside the house and let God kena the sunshine and rain.

After God had fulfill their dream by letting them to earn more money, then can buy an umbrella for God.

And after they had earn big money, they will move the God inside the house to 'stay' with them.

So the God pic tat i took at the silver shop, i snap it inside the shop..

Tat's mean this silver shop had earn big money ! ! ! The God can stay inside with them ! ! !

After visiting Ubud village, we continue to Kintamani.

Kintamani, a mountain village which lies 1400 meters above sea level, a breathtaking view of Batur mountain, an active volcano and Batur Lake at the edge of Kintamani Village.

We had our buffet lunch at a restaurant which we can hav a nice view of Batur mountain and Batur Lake during the meal.

After lunch, we visit Tampak Siring "Pura Tirta Empul", the temple of Tampak Siring which built around a sacred spring.

The temple and its two bathing place have been used by the Balinese for over 1000 years for good health and prosperity.

Many believers drink the spring water and bath with it.

There is another 2 bathing place for male and female separately. I saw those ppl really naked and bath there.

This thing look like wat??

Local ppl believe tat if u want to giv birth to a son, can come and pray here and touch this thing repeatedly, then the God will bless u ! !

On our way walk out from the temple, there are over 200 of stalls for us to shop.

We met some difficulty when buying thing as the Rupiah is so so big, we dun even knoe how to count.

In Indon, 1000 Rupiah can only used for paying the toilet.

All the things sell there is in thousand, hundred thousand and even in million Rupiah..

Huh, count the money until i kepala putar-putar dy ! !

We can always saw this kind of pondok in Bali.

From the tour guide, we know tat this is call pondok mimpi.

During day time, a lot of guy, especially those whose hav 4 wives, will sit in the pondok, mimpi there and doing nothing.

They no need to work as their 1st wives will take care of the house and the rest 2nd, 3rd and 4th will go out work to earn money.

They juz need to relax in the pondok to gain enuf energy for ' night time OT '.... Haha

Tat's their culture, ridiculous rite ??

After dinner, went back to hotel to rest.

There is a Blue Eyes karaok connected to the hotel, so we spend our night free time there from 9pm to 3am.

It was Shin Lee's birthday, we celebrate there.

And this's the 1st time i heard Birthday song in Indon style.

We spend almost 6 hours in the karaok, 1st 3 hours was singing time, then next 3 hours was Youngster Happy Time.

At 12.30am, youngster start exciting and it was our own disco dancing time..

We shout like hell in the room and drink like hell too..

Soooo happyyyy and soooo highhhh ! ! !

And finally Justin got drunk.. haha funny funny

Tat night i slept at 3 something but i din sleep well as drink too much dy, kepala pusing-pusing...

Bali Trip Day 1

2nd Oct 2008


Gather at airport at 8.30am and meet out local trip leader, Ms YY there.


The flight AK 900 depart at 10.55am...


After 2 and a half hour, we arrive at Bali Ngu Rah Rai International Airport..

The airport is juz next to the sea and the railway for flight is on the sea.

After meeting our local tour guide, Mr An To, we proceed to a local chinese restaurant for lunch.

The food is still ok but is very expensive.

Then the 1st place we visit was Uluwatu Temple,

it perched on steep cliffs which hav farmed where the land ends at the South East coast of the Bali Island.

The Uluwatu Temple was built in the 11th century and is one of the oldest and most important temple in Bali.

There's a lot of naughty monkeys there, they will grab spectacles, hair clips, cap, etc etc from our body.

After snapping any picture there, we went to Jimbaran Beach for BBQ dinner..

Yeah~ ~ the dinner was on the beach with nice seaview and nice sunset scenery.

Along the beach, there was a lot of seafood restaurant.

It was so grand that many ppl gather at the beach juz to enjoy the BBQ seafood dinner.

It's so perfect to hav delicious meal on the beach with candle light, romantic environmant and nice view of sea and sunset.

But unfortunately, the sun was covered by the cloud, so we cant enjoy the sunset very much.

After dinner, it was check in time to Genesis & Spa Hotel.

The hotel is very new, four star, but with lousy facilities..

The facilities in the room was not complete, we hav to ask for sandal, shampoo and even waste basket from the room service.

They forgot to put it in the room ! ! !

Wat a four star hotel ? ? PUI ! !

The 1st night, gals enjoy with the Bali famous spa.

I did the hot stone spa and really enjoy with it.

It was very cheap there, only RM 120 for 2 hours.

After the spa, went back to hotel and was almost 1am.

Holidays Over

Mid term break over dy..

Now i hav to go back to my boring life again ~ ~

Yesterday came back from Bali then straight away back to college from airport..

This morning slept until 12pm..

Tmr i got the mid term,

so need to study now..

Selamat Hari Raya

Today is public holiday,
it's Hari Raya..
Selamat Hari Raya to my fren those who celebrate it.

Public holiday, sure i sleep till late la..
Same with sis n mum n su,
we sleep till 10 something...
It's a great holiday morning..

But when we woke up,
bro dy start with his painting job..
He's going to paint his room..

Dun care with watever he done,
we get ourself ready out for 'brunch'..

The restaurant is full with ppl..
Public holiday wat, sure many ppl want to rest and so do with the housewife..
No cook, eat outside..

The road in Kepong area seems like so quiet..
No noise and jam, not like usual..
The road in KL area also same, quiet..
Juz now when i sent su back,
pass by PWTC..
saw a lot of ppl wearing baju kurung, sarong and songkok..
There's a Hari Raya function there..

After brunch, we went to Jusco to get mum's spectacle.
Many shop in Jusco was close today but yet still alot of ppl shopping in half close Jusco..
Ppl enjoy holiday with shopping, outting, gathering, having fun, eating outside, bla bla bla....

But wat abt me??
How do i spent my public holiday???

Stay at home doing housework..
Looking at bro painting the wall..
Sitting in front comp doing my aquarium report..
Staring at the clock waiting the time to pass

Then after bro finish with his painting work,
We went for Bak Kut Teh dinner.
Meet Charles there..

Bro's room look quite nice now,
It's pink and purple combination..
I like tat light pinky color and purple is romantic.
Wish to paint my room with tat pink too..

This is how my day over~~
Now only i finish with my report and dy sent out to one of my group member..

The time showing 2.44am now,
I got to sleep soon,
if not, cant wake up later.
I hav to wake up at 5am later to go to airport.
