Paddington House of Pancakes

Finally, the problem of photo transfer can be solve...

and after delay for so long,

i m going to introduce 1 of my favourite restaurant now..


Yeah ~ ~ Paddington House of Pancakes...

It's located at The Curve, 2nd floor of The Street...

As i know, 1 U also has branch..

but i never try before...

This paddington House of Pancakes got more than 130 type of pancakes from all over the world..

It has many types of pancake... and different way to serve the food..

like western style, dessert style, burger style, bla bla bla,

a lot, too many till i couldn't count...


That day after movie -- Slumdog Millionaire, at 1U,

we decided to go to The Curve for dinner..

and yeah, we choose this Paddington Pancakes..

The very 1st time, was bro bring me there..

tat time was the anniversary of bro n his gf..

and yet, i was there to be the bulb.. heheh..

bro gf ( now is wife la.. ) strongly recomment this pancake to me..

and i was in love with it at the 1st time..

and so the 2nd time when sis back from UK,

we went again..

and off course, sis loves it too la...


So after so many times,

this is my favourite of the favourites.... Treasure Box... RM 17.00

everytime sure i will order this..

It is the bite sized dollar pancakes with strawberries, bananas, plum, peaches, raisins, nuts, cinnamon & ice-cream...

sounds good huh ? ?

yeah, it's really fantastic.. i love it so much..




Next, duno wat is this call...

It's something name Pangkor..

this is because it is seafood..

it is deep fried mixed seafood, fresh button mushroom & tartar sauce.. RM 22.50

The fried seafood not bad..




Then, this is the minced chicken & basil, with sour cream, mashed potatoes and mozzarella..

It's RM 18.50..

1st time try it.. but i dun really like it..

This 1 is salad..

maybe it is Norway type of salad as it's named Norway..

It's the combination of delectable and healthy slices of smoked salmon, quail's egg and mesclun salad with lemon olive oil dressing and splotches of sour cream... RM 23.50

for this 1, i dun like the taste..

the smoked salmon taste so raw.. i scare the fishy smell..

so for me, it's bad...

The last 1 is this, maple baked mixed fruits... RM 23.50

It has peaches, plum, pineapples, strawberries, blueberries and ice-cream..

it taste quite good also.. i like it too...

this is all the food tat we order tat day..

now i feel like want to eat la...

hmm..... i wonder when's my next time to Paddington pancake ler ? ?

Fail to transfer the photos.. @.@

At first thought want to recommend another of my favourite restaurant,

but then something wrong with my hp file transfer..

duno wat happen to it, it juz cant read the files in my hp..

i thk it is the software problem..

but every time when i transfer photo, it was ok wat..

panic now..

and even when i wanted to get the photo for my report from hp,

also fail ! !

so today i gav a report without photo to miss patricia..

hmmmmm........... =(

hopefully i can settle it by next week,

and then i can post up my favourite restaurant..

Shit ! ! REPORT ! !

Juz came back from outside..

went out with my coursemate..

it's good to chat with them after separated for some times..


Now, i got to kick my ass up,

to do the annoying internship report.. gosh!!!

we hav to show miss patricia our work tmr..

GRRR... not started yet..

how m i going to die???

always last minutes work..

hav to stay up all the night for the report...

ok.. start reporting now..

in Growth now..

Today i m in a new department..

Growth department..

I did the same thing here also,

which is tissue culture..

but this time is not culturing the banana, it's oil palm..

and it's much more easier than the banana culture..

so today i was quite easy n relax..

growth department got a lot of workers compare to banana block..

i thk abt 20 workers all together,

so it's quite hard to remember every of their name..

but i will try my best to remember every faces n names la..

one more thing,

in banana block, the hood is all new n the room division is so systematic...

but in growth there which is H block,

the hood is quite old n the room is very messy..

now i started to miss banana block dy..

everything is so good there, the workers r frenly too...

they even giv me a present as souviner during mu last day in block B..

i m very touch eh..

Delicious, only for the name, but not the food

Last night after visiting kai mou in kl sport medical center..


this weekend keep on travel btw kepong n hospital to giv him a companion..


back to the main point now,


after visiting him, we, gals , went to bangsar to hav our dinner..


Bangsar dun hav much choice of restaurant,

but more pubs available there..


so cheng suggested this Delicious Cafe in Bangsar Village..



it was almost 10pm when we step into it, but still

it was full with ppl n we hav to wait for 5 min for waitress to get us a seat..



This Delicious cafe food is something like Souled Out in Sri Hartamas..

there r main course of steaks, chops, fish n chips.. bla bla bla..

there is also pasta, soups, burgers, dessert.....

So.....

Dang Dang ! !

mushroom soup with garlic bread RM 13.90

it's really taste good.. the best mushroom soup i hav ever taste..

it's concentrated with mushroom..

Pan-seared crispy skin salmon

served with coriander relish, asparagus n fried potatoes... RM 39.90

I dun like the coriander taste,

but i like that big asparagus.. great ! !

and the salmon not bad too...

Duck confit spaghettini with sun-dried tomatoes n coriander..

this 1 is really yukky, bad...

n it's very oily too..

we ordered this because it sounds special,


combination of duck with spaghetti..


but it dissapointed us..

And finally this Tiramisu in glass..

it's not yummy too..


it taste a bit wierd..


n this wierd taste, small glass of dessert cost RM 12.90




There is another cheese burger served with salad n fries..


but before i take out the camera,


Sue already put it in her mouth..


she's really hungry eh...

so i cant post it up here..hehe


anyway, the salad n fries taste normal..


but the burger was really unsavoury..


the beef inside was not in a round piece but it's more like mince beef..


Bad, BAd , BAD ! ! !


And this awful thing cost roughly RM13..



So basically, this cafe is out of ranking..


I will not go n hav my meal there ever again..


if possible la.. haha..

Gonna say bye to Block B

4 weeks past...

it's so fast..

I've been in FELDA for 4 weeks dy..

almost 1 month..

so tmr will be my last day in Banana Block..

we r rotating to different department every month..

i gonna say bye to all banana workers n also my ketua..

after 1 month, i get along with them quite well..

all of them r so frenly n helpful..

teach me n help me in a lot of things..

thousand thanks to them..

So after tmr, i will be going to Growth department..

quite looking forward, duno how's the department n workers will be..

hopefully everything will be smooth..

Memorable Trip ^~^

After so so long,

now only i decided to post it up..

My US trip ~ ~

It was really great, and sure i got the chance to catch the snow..

yeah~~ snow ! ! It's snow ! !

There is a christmas song abt ' i dream of a white christmas ~ ~'

and i'd really experience it..

We depart from kl on 11th of Dec last year..

it's so long dy huh..

We rent the bus to airport as there r too many of us..

Before enter the departure gate..

we were on the plane for abt 18 hours n transit in Taiwan..

Taiwan, one of the places tat i always wanted to go..

but we can only hang around in the airport as we only hav not more than 2 hours time there..

After 3 meals, so many songs i had listen, so many hours of sleep,

finally we reach Los Angeles international airport..

It was simple and crude as it is an old airport, and it's under construction too..

By the time when we came out from custom,

it's 5 something local time, but the sky is totally dark dy..

Our tour guide, Mr Kel Wong lead us to check in the hotel in LA, Wyndham Anaheim Park.

we were welcome by my 2 uncles n their family..

Uncle Watson n Auntie Lucy prepare a great welcome dinner for us at the hotel conference room..

It was really great ! ! Yummy Yummy~ ~

And 2 of my litttle cousin, Jason n Kayla, they r so understanding n kind-hearted..

they prepare for each 32 of us a drinking bottle with the lable n the name on it..

They r so sweet ~ ~

Tat night, i ate a lot of grapes n oranges there,

their fruits are so juicy n sweet..wow~ ~

The next day, it was LA Disneyland fun time..

The tour guide showing us the map in the Disneyland..

LA Disneyland was the 1st disneyland in the world..

It's so happening there..and it is the happiest place on earth..

The decoration n the environment was so great..

we were so excited n snap the picture around..

The duckling that i tot only appear in fairy tales,

but now i can see them with my own eyes.. cool ~ ~

we enjoy all the rides and show..

the parade by all the cartoon characters and fairy tale princes n princesses were really great..

We stay in Disneyland from 8 something in the morning till 10pm in the night..

And it was so cold at the night time,

i almost freeze when waiting for the shuttle bus to back hotel..

Everybody was so tire tat day and we had a good rest and ready for 3rd day trip...

Oversea once in a year n there's a lot of small small trip around the country..

All the trip expensess paid by company, good huh??

but i will be leaving this september,

so by the time reach, i need to quit liao..

Valentine Day

The Valentine day, it was yesterday...

No valentine for me, but it was not a boring day..

Morning wake up late for office work,

8.45am, jumped up from bed n do a quickly clean up,

then rush to office..

had Kopi Street breakfast twice tat morning..

first with miss soh, n then second with xiao yi..

full, full, full..............

after work, went to pizza with Matsuki colleagues..

had a great talk in the pizza..

saw a waitress got a bunch a rose n propose from her valentine..

wow, it's so romantic..

night time, cousin brother ask for genting tour with his frens..

so 7 of us, without partner, or lover not around,

went all the way up to genting at 9 something..

once we reach there, straight away went in to CASINO..

they'd play, but i m so good gal, not interested with it =D

After they had satisfied with the game,

we went to hav supper..

the weather tat night still ok, not too cold..

we walk around to find a cafe to stop down,

starbuck was full with ppl late at 12 in the mid night,

so we decided to stop at a duno wat cafe..

i had my favourite iced machioto latte..

seng ber paid for the bill tat night as he win in casino la..

had a pleasing chat for more than 2 hours..

After hang around,

then we decided to go down the hill..

all the way to car park, everyway of genting was still crowded with ppl..

and sure in this meaningful day, there r paired paired of couples dating sweetly..

after come down from genting, we sent peggy's fren back to Sri Petaling..

It's really far man...

we went thru the whole MRR2 n LDP..

pass thru several toll..

n finally i reach home at 5am in the morning..

Really tire..

but my Valentino day was not lonely..

i had a great day even without valentine.. =P

After 2 yrs, we meet again ~ ~

As the title, i meet 2 of my Muar besties last saturday..


Step into Mid Valley again after last visit since 4 months ago..


Mid Valley used to be my hang around area during HELP time with A42 gang n my darling cousins..


But that day when i step in the entrance, it was so unacquainted to me..


the shops, the ppl, the environment..everything look so strange..




Met Ai Jing at the KTM station, then met Sey Lee n her sis at the escalator near to the KTM exit..




Wow, after 2 yrs, finally we meet again la..




Actually we will meet at least once in a year during CNY..


but last CNY my grandpa past away, so i dint meet up with them..


n this CNY when i was in Muar, i was too busy with my relatives n also too busy with mah jong,

until i dun hav time to pay a visit to their house..




so, saturday meeting on..




Both of them din change much, juz ai jing had change her hairstyle..




we sit at a cafe for chatting..


Talk abt everybody's current life..




and we also recall back our secondary school time..




it's really good when we cast back the oldie time together..







This is Sey Lee..





She was my 1st fren when i transfer to muar in form 3..

I was really down that time after the transferation, n still cant let go that upset incident which happened before i transfer..

luckily got sey lee, she's there for me..

be my good fren n lend a helping hand to me in the new environment..

she's the one who help me to get all the books from teacher n koperasi, introduce teachers n school area to me, accompany me all the time..

she sit beside me during form 3, form 4 n even form 5..

we had sit together for almost 3 yrs ! !

I m really glad n proud to hav such a fren like u, sey lee...

Same class with her for form 4 n 5,

but we only getting close in form 5 n finally become besties..

There is another besties, Pei Fern, but we dun manage to meet her..



All 3 of them went thru with me all my happiness n sadness..

they stand by my side when i feel down n encourage me when i face problem..




Meet after 2 yrs, sure we got a lot of story to tell others..

we chat from 3pm till 7pm..but the story still not yet finish..

This is besties la, do u know tat?

Besties is, even u din see each other for long time, dint contact for long time,

but still, u got a lot of topics to talk abt, to share..

U will never feel far apart from each other even though physically

u r really far apart..




Had our dinner at a Korean BBQ outside the cinema there..

The food not bad...

When i recall back my muar life, sure there is some one who is so special to me..

It's u, dear kai ~ ~

i couldn't forget the every moment that we spend together..

sweet memories will always be in my mind n i will keep u in the corner of my heart forever..

Thanks to all of u, my besties,

thanks for making my muar life so meaningful n so memorable..

Tmr off day

It had been 1 week since i enter FELDA..

everything getting ok now..

Start to be accustomed to the working life..

every morning, 6 something i hav to leave my bed and get myself ready to work..

evryday the same routine..

8.15 start working, 12.45 lunch break,

2.00 resume, 5.15 off time..

It's really boring..

And night time, i need to be in the bed at 10pm..

What a healthy life huh ~ ~

Today, again, i scald my palm..

i burned the forcep when finish work,

after that put it back to the forcep box..

but then when i want to remove the forcep box out of the hood,

i accidentally touch the hot forcep..

it was pain like hell ! !

and even till now it's still aching..

Haha, i m so happy now as tmr will be my off day..

I can escape from work for 1 day.. yahoo ! !

Every 2 weeks we can off for 1 thursday,

as we need to hav a meeting n report to our supervisor..

so, i can sleep late tonight, yeah ~ ~ ~

1st day in FELDA, exhauted ! !

Holidays over..

Came back to coll..

Today is my 1st day in FELDA..

wake up so early today, before the sun rise..

and went to Bandar Enstek in wee's car..

This FELDA Biotechnology Services is abt 20 km away from coll..

It is quite a big company or can say a big lab..

After meeting with the person in charge, Pn Siti,

we were placed in banana culture lab..

so for the whole morning session,

i was doing this cloning thingy...

I'd learn tissue culture before in the coll lab,

and know the technique to clon a plant..

but this morning work was really tiring..

Sit in front of the laminar floor for abt 3 hours culturing the banana non stop ! !

My back, my hand n my eye all feel so suffer..

And i even burn my tumb ! ! hu hu..

All the workers there can do the job very fast n i cant understand y they dun feel tire ? ?

Pn Siti told us tat each worker was tergeted to produce 300 clon per day..

How can they hit the target ? ?

During the process, we need to cover our hair n wear mask..

It's so uncomfortable..

After so so long, finally i was manage to stop for lunch break..

3 of us sneak out for lunch at the nearby shop..

After lunch, i was really tire n still got some times before lunch break finish,

so i take a short short nap on wee's car..

it was really nice tat can take a nap after the tiring work..

2 o'clock, we went to admin department to get the tag n tumb print..

The company system using tumb print instead of punch card..

we need the tag for us to enter every department or can say every door..

even the toilet they also lock it with key,

if u want to use the toilet, need to open it with the department key..

After finish everything in admin department, then we r consider as a part of the company dy..

3 o'clock, we got a 'department tour' lead by Pn Siti..

She introduce to us each block and each lab..

It takes abt an hour to finish the 'tour'..

then we were asked to stay at the media preparation room to do the test tube checking..

It is very easy n relax compare to tissue culture..

we juz need to check whether the test tubes r clean enuf or not,

all those dirty tube were rejected..

Thousands of test tube in rack n trolly waiting for checking..

And, i break a tube accidentally..

luckily it was not a big deal..

Stay in this room for an hour, then finally off time..

I was like "huh ~ ~ ~ release ! !"

But tmr still need to go back to the banana cloning lab..

oh my god ~ ~ ~

today is juz the 1st day, i dy exhausted..

Wat to say if i need to stay in FELDA for 3 MONTHSSS ? ? ?

Today come back to college for replacement class,

but again, class was cancel as expected ! !

Y m i so stupid ? ?

Always like tat, come here for nothing..so sien..

College seems like less student today.. y?

Yeah, CNY is here..

most of the chinese student went back kampong for this great celebration..

but still manage to meet 2 of my coursemate, can say junior though..

2 malay gals, nisah n sue..

chit chat with them for a while and got to know everybody is good for now..

Really miss those class time..

when coursemate were study together.. hang around and joke around together..

This is my last sem in nilai,

soon, i will leave here and chances to gather with dearest coursemate will be lesser and lesser..

I should treasure every minute, every moment that we meet or gather together..


Back to Kepong life..

Wat i did for this few days??

went for body treatment, massage and FIR everyday this week..

Now i m in love with this new thingy, FIR , Far Infra Red..

It's something like sonar..will make ur body hot and sweat...

It can clear out the toxin in our body and skin..

The only difference is FIR using infra-red instead of water bath steam..

I'd really enjoy when sweat shed out from body..

It will make me so fresh and skin will look so good..

BUt the problem is, i duno y this 2 days my body, leg and hand feel so itch??

Is it the side effect??

I thk it must be the toxin release out by this way..

Hopefully all this irritated itch will gone before CNY..

I dun wanna going out with red itch spot on my skin when meet up with frens n relatives..

Went to buy new clothes yesterday..

I dun really bought new clothes as money spending like water this few months..

juz bought 1 or 2.. thk will be enuf for this festival..

Bought red clothes for the old buddy gathering as the organizer specify that everyone must wear "ang ang"..

Guess this year is our 10th anniversary of CNY gathering..wahaha..

Our friendship started more than 10 yrs ago..

And i really hope there is also 20th , 30th or even 40th anniversary..

Am i too greedy? ? haha.. but seriously, i'd really mean it..

I cant wait to meet up with frens that long time nvr meet..

I will be going back to Labis tmr early in the morning..

c ya frens.. tmr night we will encounter and hav fun together..
